The quietness and easy pace of the locale is expressed in the hotel as well. The property is well maintained and the personnel is friendly and effective. The breakfast buffet is really good. "I stayed at the Barthels for two nights, arriving after a very long drive and immediately being able to relax. It’s clean, modern, and comfortable and in an incredible location right in the heart of the old town of Würzburg - I could see the cathedral dome right outside my window! Despite that, it wasn’t noisy and I wasn’t ever woken up to the sound of church bells chiming or street noise. "An amazing room and extremely clean. Comfortable bed and a great shower. Friendly and helpful staff. The only negatives were a terrible lack of parking in the area and getting to the amazing room was a bit of a labyrinth. I highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely stay there on our next trip. "

Parking is in a parkade 70 metres away but driving (carefully!) right up to the door on the sidewalk to drop off luggage was completely okay with everyone in this pedestrian preferred locale in the old town. Suite was huge with simple mini kitchen. (Small bar fridge and sink but nothing else. I will also mention the little coffeemaking set up was poor.) "The Neckarsulm hotel is located a few kilometers from the highway therefore it takes the time to find it. The hotel is located in the office neighborhood and it was quite quiet. It is too bad that there is no free parking around there. The room and the bathroom were very clean with enough space for 2 people. My wife and I really enjoyed the comfy beds and very comfortable beddings. Unfortunately we found the breakfast for 16 Euro per person being very expensive and not attractive at all. "

"Mit dem Zimmer, dem Spa Bereich und dem Restaurant waren wir insgesamt zufrieden. Der Service war jedoch leider unterdurchnittlich. Im Laufe unseres Aufenthalts ging mehrere Male etwas mit den Karten zum Öffnen der Zimmer schief (zum Beispiel Karten vertauscht fuer zwei Zimmer in unserer Gruppe beim check in, Karte abgelaufen um 10 Uhr am Tag der Abreise obwohl check out bis 11 Uhr).
