We parked in the car park upstairs , outside for free ( there is underground parking on site too ) The room was nice , overlooking the river .. from the hotel it’s walkable to the Cathedral quarter ( 10/12mins stroll ) and there’s a wealth of restaurant choices and bars there . This seemed a very walkable and safe city and the Mercure is a nice easy , cost effective hotel to use as a base for a visit . "

"Very charming room with a small balcony and good space. In the center of the town and walking to shopping and Main Street was easy. Front desk speaks English so it was nice. Parking is street parking but no problem finding one. Great place. "
