"The Rangof is actually in the village of Elpersdorf about 5 minutes drive from Ansbach proper. It is so nice and peaceful, very relaxing. It was quite warm while we were there and there is no air condition. No ice machine. No elevator/lift if you have limited mobility. Aside from that, the restaurant serves up some tasty traditional German food and beer. Outdoor cafe style dining was also a plus with the exceptional weather. Lack of amenities aside it is a wonderful place to stay and de-stress"

"This historic hotel is truly one of a kind! It’s the oldest in the area and has been beautifully renovated. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help. We stayed in the charming and spacious attic suite, and we absolutely loved it! We loved this hotel so much that we even bought a miniature clay building of it as a souvenir. He had very excellent wine pairings and was very helpful when we had questions. Helped us with our bags up and down the stairs. He even valeted the German super car we rented!
