"A small town dated accommodation throughout this experience. The newest part is the gym where there are only 5 pieces of equipment with one broken during our 10-day stay. We do like old school hotels when traveling in Europe. However at Notarie, it simply needs a facelift with current style of mamagement. WiFi needs to up the game. First off, that old tapestry odor in the room needs to be eliminated. The dusts at the bathroom ceiling vent (415) needs to be removed. Toilet bowl waterstains...

"The best part about this hotel were the staff members. From housekeeping to the front desk, they were accommodating, helpful, kind, and pleasant. "Sewerage smell in the bathroom was so bad you could not be in there. Worst is they knew about it. When I arrived late the room door was left open and so was the window. I went out not realising how bad it was. It was too late to move anyway. In the morning the owner lies about not knowing about it but mysteriously already knew the room number even though he wasn't working reception. The place is a dump. It's disappointing to find this sort of establishment can advertise on hotels.com"

"We stayed at hotel Guerro for 3 nights during our visit to Bologna, Maranello and Modena. It was an excellent choice as we rented a car and it is much better than staying in Bologna because the parking is easier, the rooms are larger, the area is very quiet and plenty of excellent restaurants around. The hotel is recently renovated the rooms are very modern and the amenities are on par with 5* hotels (shower robes, slippers, shaving set…). Breakfast is delicious and generous made of high quality...
