"Once you got beyond the entrance which is not that inviting you were treated to a most comfortable room, very modern and very well appointed. The bathroom is modern and very efficient. The smart tv gives you lots of options. You can log in to Netflix if you have an account (remember your password). Outside the bedroom is a very nice common area supplied with tea and coffee. Upstairs is a lively huge terrace decorated with plants and a comfortable sitting area. There’s a view of the mountains in the distance. Breakfast is at a bar/cafe a very short walk away. The staff there are most accommodating. You can take away your coffee and cornetti if you prefer. The only disadvantage is the 5 mints walk away from the pedestrian area which certainly wouldn’t be a problem for younger people. Be sure to be in touch with the owner ahead of time to let them know your arrival time. There’s no staff at the site. They will meet you there."

"The owners are hands in and very accommodating. The room was brand new and the bathroom was beautiful. Very centrally located and easy to walk into town. The owner gave a good restaurant recommendation and good directions. "

"We stayed here for 4 nights/3 days as a mother-daughter trip. Hotel had good amenities, lovely pool area with lots of sun loungers and waking through the apartments you are the beautiful private beach (cost €6 a day to hire a lounger). Staff were great, so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Everyone said hello and particularly shout out the the two ladies on reception who went out their way to book us train tickets, arrange taxis to/from airport (including a refund after being overcharged - should be €35 each way). We had a standard twin room. Enough space for us and appreciates the fridge, tv and balcony. Air con was noisy so didn’t tend to use it, but was good for what we needed. Nice view of the town and could see the sea and the mountains. The room comes with some many complimentary toiletries, inc razor and cream, shampoo, shower gels and toothbrush/toothpaste, which was more than standard so was very impressed. Breakfast was a buffet. No hot food. Just breads, cereals, cakes, pastries etc Great location to explore the Reggio Calabria area without a car (train station is a 10 min walk) so we took a day trip to Scilla and Messina. Hotel and general area were very quiet, could be as we came to end of season so there is only really 1-2 places to eat. We ate in the restaurant one night, good food but the servers were preoccupied with a private function so they never asked if we wanted drinks or dessert. The cafe at the lido was good value and tasty panins. "

"This is a lovely building in a great location! Thank you for letting us enter so late. Staying here really made our night great after experiencing a horrible flight delay. We checked in and went out for a bite which was just a few steps away and was a wonderful experience in itself. We slept comfortably and had everything we needed. I hope we can come back to Malta and stay at your lovely hotel again in the near future."
