"The place was very clean, it had great A/C, hot water, a very powerful fridge and the staff was very friendly. The main complaint I had is that there are birds that attack the window starting around 5 am, which makes it hard to sleep as it's very disturbing and it would be great if they had an iron on premise. I would definitely stay at the Black Pearl Inn again."

"The pool looks very dirty"

"Loved our stay here. We actually extended the stay we liked it so much. Clean, safe and excellent location. Industrial fans kept us very comfortable to sleep. The water pressure from the shower was amazing and strong. The location to Playa Remanso Beach is a 1 minute walk. To San Juan Del Sur it is barely a 10 minute ride on motorcycle. Playa Hermosa is not even a 10 minute ride on motorcycle. The staff and owner are very kind. We will definitely stay here again."

"Lots of stairs to walk down the cabin, needs lighting. It was super dark and very unsafe for us at night. Super deep. There were lot of ants and bugs walking around the place. Please be aware of security cameras looking at you, no privacy. With was one of the reasons that I booked this one. Breakfast was late and very simple. No parking lot. Other than that is ok."

"They should include breakfast. Many other surrounding locations offered this amenity. Other than that our stay was great and we’ll be coming back."

"Staff and owner fine atention"

"We came to visit the sea house in April, the weather was warm and dry and perfect for beach, surf, fun. We were 3 adults who love to bird watch, hike, surf, swim, bike, climb, sit, read, and enjoy nature. This place was perfect. The onsite staff is lovely and always ready to help or answer a question. We cooked in that beautiful kitchen many mornings and nights and just enjoyed sitting outside to eat and wind down for the night. Beds were extremely comfortable and it’s nice each bedroom had a bath connected. We would totally come stay again and recommend others to stay as well!"

"Amazing place with amazing food "

"My husband and I stayed at Playa coco beach view townhouse. We stayed two nights. The house and the view were excellent. You can sit on the patio and hear the waves crashing. The beach is very private and safe. The property has security that are 24/7 guarding the premises. There is not much in the area. There is only one restaurant and a few pulperias(mini convenience stores. The drive to San Juan del Sur is about 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend an SUV. The roads leading to the property are very very rocky due to construction . I don’t advise driving at night as there are no street lights. The beach is swimmable small waves. There is a small pool on the premises. There is a familyOf monkeys that hang out around the big trees in the property and when the sun goes down you can hear them hauling. Very cool experience. The host David very responsive to all my questions and concerns. He referred to us Veronica she is someone he uses that cooks for him.and we hired her to makes us a meal. You provide the ingredients and you tell her what you want and she makes a delicious meals. My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this property. "
