"Really enjoyed our visit on 11th April. Booked the Keld room for one night. 3rd visit to the hotel. Very comfortable room on the first floor looking down to the front garden and moors opposite. Hotel has a rear garden with superb views as well. No lifts on property. Excellent service, superb breakfast. Many rooms have seperate bathroom ( private ). Haven't had an evening meal here. Think its more fine dining than traditional " pub grub ''. Limited wines by the glass. Bottles approx 45- 90...

"The cottage was a lovely, cosy little place to stay. It was nice & warm and snug. Adequate space for 2 of us with 2 small dogs. It would have been nice to have a little table or trays for eating, but otherwise it has all you need for a break away. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others. "

"We had a lovely stay at The Old Barn, it’s well equipped, quiet and dog friendly. The parking worked well, we have a 4x4 and a tow bar mounted bike rack. We also appreciated having a secure shed for our bikes. The neighbours are friendly and made us feel welcome, we are planning to return to the cottage to explore the area further. My only comment is about recycling as we couldn’t find a recycling bin. But we did locate and use the local recycling facility, which is at The Reeth Dales Centre."

The check in process was stressful as I didn’t appear to have the code to the lock box and although I emailed to ask twice, I only received the automated response. Fortunately, a local neighbour was able to give it to us after seeing proof of booking."

"Great location and nice views. Easily walkable into the village and to Dales Bike Centre which has a great cafe. A great location to explore the Yorkshire Dales."
