"I think its my 3rd visit to the Windmill The floorboards are creaky, the phone signal is really awful. (But that does have a positive, no disturbances) Its a lovely little place to stay! The staff are fantastic. It's spotlessly clean. The restaurant is great, too much choice and very, very tasty. Although it's right on the A19 its peacefully quiet. A cracking little place that's quirky and does exactly what is says on the tin. Cheap n cheerful 😊 "

The chef produced some wonderful meals We've stayed in larger rooms but that didnt matter as there was everything you needed with the added bonus of being so lovely and warm as we chose to stay during the coldest few days of this year. York, Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors were all not far away. We'll definitely be back."
