Highview Apartments is a newly refurbished set of only 3 beautifully prepared apartments the place to stay in Redcar The apartment is located on the third floor of a Victorian town house and is within meters of the beach. Whether you’re looking to start your day with a morning beach walk or head out in the evening for a lively night out at the main hotspots
With views of the coastline the space brings the seaside town in. Located within a fantastic, peaceful victorian building and one of the oldest buildings it’s the perfect place to relax after spending time in the sea air. The accommodation comprises of a hall way leading to the apartments, a good sized bathroom, generous double bedroom and kitchen/living area. It is the perfect location from which to explore Redcar by foot or by car Guest access The entire Penthouse Apartment will be yours to enjoy and to make yourself completely at home. Other things to note The stretch of beach near Redcar Lifeboat Station has gained a Seaside Award for it's cleanliness and good water quality. Redcar’s coastline is used by many water sports enthusiasts, windsurfing, fishing, sailing and diving are very popular pastimes. Redcar’s Majuba beach area is sailable in almost any wind direction. Majuba faces North/North East and receives cross-shore conditions, giving good flat water blasting
YOUR APARTMENT
One of the oldest building in the town our building was a formerly known as Lambeths Garage and now consists of just three one-bedroom apartments! We have sought to equip our home to a high standard and to anticipate your needs by providing all the things you might want for a luxurious stay. Towels are provided as standard and a washing machine is available so that you don’t have to worry about luggage restrictions.
AWARD WINNING BEACH
Redcar’s award winning flat sandy beaches stretch eight miles, south east and north west.
In the northwest the beach runs past Coatham to the South Gare breakwater at the mouth of the river Tees. To the south east the sand beach is bordered by the Stray from Redcar’s Zetland Park to Marske by the sea and then continues on to Saltburn. The stretch of beach near Redcar Lifeboat Station has gained a Seaside Award for its cleanliness and good water quality.

South Gare is a lagoon in the mouth of the Tees, which provides a safer sailing venue if the onshore swell at Redcar is too high.

Redcar Racecourse offers 18 days of action-packed horse racing from April to November.
The unique atmosphere created at Redcar Racecourse, coupled with excellent facilities, guarantees that you'll have a truly memorable day out.
A day at the races is the perfect way to celebrate a special event whether you're planning a day out with friends or family, an action-packed hen or stag party, or rewarding your employees for their hardwork.
Families are welcomed with FREE admission for accompanied 18-year olds. There's also lots of free entertainment for children on Premier Meetings.
Redcar Racecourse is also a full-time conference and events centre, benefiting from a prime location within the Teesside area. It's the perfect venue for wedding receptions, birthday parties, conferences, training days, seminars, dinners and team building days.
THE ZETLAND
The Zetland is the oldest surviving lifeboat in the world and is listed within the National Historic Ship Register as part of the Nations Historic Fleet and was built in 1802. She saw 78 years of service and saved over 500 lives from the treacherous Redcar coast.
With free admission, it is well worth a visit to view the many artefacts within the museum representing local heritage and maritime history. The ground floor houses Zetland herself, together with her famous call-out drum and there is also several displays including one showing lifeboats through their different eras of development. Upstairs in the Laurie Picknett Gallery is an extensive collection of photographs, postcards and memorabilia relating to Redcar and its characters, dating back to the 1800’s.
Everything is literally on your doorstep so you won't need a car to get to any of the many stores, restaurants, take-aways and supermarkets and the award winning Majuba Beach with its sandy beach is only moments away.
