"Location was super close to lots of trail heads. Cabin was clean and had everything I needed for my stay. I think the listing had 2 queen beds but I'm pretty sure the main bedroom actually had a king bed so that was a very pleasant surprise! I didn't need the heat but the air conditioning worked great. "My friend and I did a girl's trip to hike some of the trails and try some of the unique restaurants in the area. It was her first time at the Gorge and my 3rd or 4th. It's such a therapeutic getaway. The location of this property was perfect for this! I had trouble with the VRBO app, and the hosts were very prompt at responding when we couldn't access the code to get in when we got there. We truly had a great time. It was clean and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. I personally appreciated that there was coffee, bottled water, and other amenities that would normally have to be packed. Pet friendly was also a HUGE plus. My boys also loved it. You couldn't tell that other animals may have been there! Would definitely stay again!"

"This cabin is awesome. It feels like a diamond in the rough. Having all the luxuries you want on vacation but a secluded get away. There are multiple beautiful hikes with cool arches and cliffs within a 10 min drive. Not sure about other reviewer saying they had to drive far to find hikes. Definitely want to stock up on gas and supplies before entering the gorge because it is about 25 mins to closest stores, but that’s what we were looking to experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this cabin again. One thing to consider is that if you like to cook you may want to bring a few supplies along like a big stock pot or oven sheet for baking. Before you go you should write down the WiFi and password as well as the door code to login because you will not have any cell service to look something up or be able to call to ask questions if you have trouble getting into the cabin. Apple Maps will tell you the road is closed but that’s incorrect, it’s open. We used google maps for driving and it was much more accurate. "
