"The hotel is acceptable, but the location on the booking site is WRONG. The hotel is much further from the city center than shown. This is not the first time I have encountered this deceptive practice. When I do, no one will take responsibility -- just finger pointing, then everyone shrugs as if to say "It's the customer's fault. The shouldn't have trusted us." Guess what, you're right. "The room was very modern and comfortable. It was very big, much more than what one would expect in a 3 star hotel. The beds were very comfortable and it has power plugs all over the place. It even has a kettle and tea, which I don't normally expect for hotels at this price level outside of the UK. "Stayed one night with friends touring Portugal. Stayed here about 15 years ago and it hasn’t changed a bit. Location is great, short walk to down centre. Plenty of parking and set in large open space. Staff are very friendly and efficient, with a quick and easy check in. I wouldn’t want to stay a week but for a night or two it’s completely acceptable. "The hotel was excellent. It was a bit hard to find it because they say it is in Ourense, but that is the region it is in. The room could be another 2 to 3 feet wider...it is a bit narrow. The washroom area is a little small with the shower right next to the single sink. They do need to add a little more furniture downstairs for comfort with setting up luggages to use. The restaurant food was awesome!"
