Edge of the Chilterns
Great for exploring National Trust properties and the Thames towns of Henley, Marlow and Cookham.
The property was tired however mostly as a consequence of having been set up on low budget.
Kitchen doors sagging, poor fridge, utensils, crockery, pots and pans etc
All need an upgrade.
The mattress needs renewing and the sofa is quite uncomfortable.
Despite pointing out that the TV was almost unwatchable and a promise to renew it nothing was done.
There is no car parking space. It's on the road outside the property.
The family cars are all parked on the drive and very little consideration was made as to guests accessing the holiday let.
The owner was surprised to see us when we turned up.
We were just lucky that he was at home otherwise we would have had nowhere to stay.
No communication details were left by him on the booking website.
All in all it was adequate but has a long way to go to be better.
