"Our group of 5 old high school buddies couldn’t have been more impressed with our experience at Rand’s place in Whispering Pines. We were completely blown away walking into the great room and kitchen area. The pictures can’t do this place justice. The kitchen is equipped with two fridges two ovens and a very large island to prepare all your meals and hang around in the evenings. The cabinets were stocked everything you could ever need including a large assortment of spices which we found super helpful. The living room sitting area was awesome, with possibly the most relaxing couches I’ve ever sat in. The ceiling through the kitchen and living must be close to 30 ft tall with beautiful exposed wood beams. The floor to ceiling stone fireplace was easy to fire up and much appreciated after a long day of riding."

"Our second stay here. Great location, reasonable rates. We needed to check in early at the last minute (health condition) and staff worked with us to make that happen. Our kids loved the swimming pool. Nice place. "

"Spent a night at River Lodge and enjoyed the restaurant across the street and watching the sun set across the highway. Great place to use as a base for attractions in the area if you have a car. "
