The hotel is vintage and that is what is charming. I liked that the lobby had a decades old printed volume in Italian of Tolstoy's War and Peace and Thomas Mann's Doctor Faustus. The cleaning staff are nice and friendly.

It’s at a great location right next to the train station, yet very quiet. Ravenna is very walkable and this hotel is near almost all of the sites with mosaics.

I would stay here again
One of the best things and worst things about the hotel was its location. It was very close to the train station (about 2 doors down on the main street), so it was very convenient to get there after arriving and after a day trip. It was a few blocks to the old town, where most of the restaurants were. The neighborhood is a bit rough, though, although I did not feel endangered there even when arriving late at night after dinner. There was a buzzer on the door and no one could enter unless the desk clerk buzzed you in. They were very prompt about this; we never had to wait more than a few seconds. The hotel had an elevator (yeah!). The room was spacious by European standards. The shower was one of those corner affairs that are a bit difficult to use if you are large. The cleaning staff did their job, although curiously enough, they put in a new toilet paper roll every day even if not much had been used. The pillows could use some improvement--they were very hard. The towels were thin, but of a generous size. all in all, it was a pleasant stay.

Centrally located pleasant 3-star hotel
Nice smaller (~15 rooms) hotel, conveniently located next to the railroad station and 500m from the center of town with good-sized rooms, even for the single traveler, and comfortable beds. Room has fridge. Staff is very pleasant and helpful, breakfast buffet is plentiful, and car parking is available in restricted zone with hotel pass.

The Ravenna site seeing hotel
I stayed here because it was close to the train station and it turned out to be about a quarter of block from the train station roundabout. Even with this closeness to the train station, it was very quiet and i got a great night's sleep. The breakfast was good and this hotel was very good value for the money. If I was to come back to Ravenna again, I would definitely stay here again.

The receptionist was really welcoming. The room was quite and very clean. It had everything we needed for our one night stay. We asked the receptionist to recommend a restaurant to go to in the centre of Ravenna. The food was exceptional with lots of happy locals chopping away.

The average hotel but it is a good value for money. The hotel is located very close to railway station and it is close to all the historical landmarks Ravenna is known for. In general the city of Ravenna is under-valuated.

Nice, inexpensive place to stay in Ravenna.
Nice hotel for the price. Very close to the train station; about a 5-minute walk. Ravenna is a small town so all of the attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast was OK, not bad but not great. Again, it was OK considering the price of the room.

Perfect location in Ravenna. 2 minute walk from the train station and all there is to see within easy walking distance. Nothing fancy but loved my big room - ask for #224. Lots of light and room to spare even with the king bed.

This is an older, economic hotel right near the train station. It is nothing fancy but I was surprised by how good it was. The staff were very kind and helpful, I heard no noise from the trains, and it was an easy 10 minute walk into town.

Good location
Good location, limited selection of breakfast (maybe normal in Italy ten years ago but other hotels are trying harder these days) with no eggs and no salad. Management turns off air conditioning in the room when we go out and we have to ask it to be turned on when we return to the room, which is a nuisance. Shower curtain is a make-shift.

Really friendly staff, great breakfast buffet which didn't cost extra and free use of a lovely bicycle and easy to get to train station as its right next door! The unfortunate thing was I had a noisy neighbour and the sound traveled well through the walls but that's not the hotels fault. Haven said sound comes through, I couldn't hear any trains
