This is our go to lodging on our annual trek to western Colorado. You could not ask for a better place to relax and take in this gorgeous antique home and it’s matching decor. The hosts are the best! The home cooked breakfasts are amazing!

This is a great place to stay. We stayed 2 nights there. The room was very clean and comfortable. It is very quiet, I slept very well. The breakfast was excellent on both days. The biscuits and gravy on sunday morning was fantastic! The owners are very friendly and cool people. If you are going to be in the Raton area, this is the place to stay. I am looking forward to going there again.

Overall very good, would stay again. Only rated staff and service a bit lower because there was no staff on property for much of our stay. When there, all was very good. Guests should understand this is an historic property and should not be compared with modern construction. Location is outstanding as well.

Delightful, quaint accommodations in a quiet neighborhood - like a visit to bygone days. Sofia was super helpful with my after-hours check-in. Very comfortable bed and a hearty breakfast complete the picture. Next time I'll stay for more than just one night!

The room was just as advertised - clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was excellent- served on beautiful china with fresh juice and coffee (with half & half). There were even snacks available in the foyer. The owners were also very helpful with information of where to dine in Raton and took the time to visit with us. A very delightful place to stay!

Sofia and her husband are the sweetest, most accommodating people! The hotel was beautiful and well kept, and obviously well loved. She cooked the most spectacular breakfast, and even gifted my husband and I our very first wedding gift after I shared with her we were there to elope:) You just cant find this kind of service anymore! Highly recommend, and we will be staying here again every time we come through! Cant say enough great things about this place, and them:)

The property was charming, built in 1894 and beautifully appointed. The proprietors were extremely responsive, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and homemade. Our room had a private bath; other rooms shared a common bathroom. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet and walkable to restaurants. We would highly recommend Hearts Desire B & B.
