Around just over half an hour walk to the castle of Edinburgh and there's also a bus stop right outside to get us to the centre. The check out should be at 12pm and not 11am... "I’ve been to Edinburgh several times for work and stayed in many places although this was my first time at the Salisbury. Overall I’m glad I chose to stay at the hotel. Some of the room decor would benefit from an upgrade to give a higher end feel but it didn’t impact the visit. The room was clean, comfy and had a decent shower. Due to a late arrival the hotel arranged self check in, which was easy to do. Will definitely use again. "
