"Fairy tale setting in Tuscany in a refurbished monastery. Very friendly staff. Easy to drive to nearby towns but definitely need a rental car. Wife got a massage and said it was the best one she ever had. Overall fantastic experience and would do it again. "

"We loved our four night stay at Irene's guest house. It was the perfect spot for taking day trips visiting the wonderful towns of Tuscany. We especially liked the full kitchen and large, comfortable rooms. Swimming in the heated pool was a great way to end a long day of sightseeing and exploring the region. "My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful villa in the Tuscan Countryside. We especially loved the grounds with room to wander, places to relax all over the property. The table and chairs under the gazebo on the terrace were our favorite place. The pool is a bonus. Weather did not permit swimming but a pleasant place to sit and read. Everything in the villa worked perfectly. One small problem was quickly resolved by the property manager. The surrounding countryside is olive trees nd vineyards. Would recommend for anyone looking for a place to relax. "

"I choose this place because I did want to be in the country, but this was not what I expected. It is very remote. There is a long very bumpy narrow one lane road you have to drive on to get to the property, There is nothing close and driving back at night was rough. The inside was clean, but there are stairs with no hand railing to get up to the bedrooms. I was traveling with my elderly father and it was not something I expected. I would have not even stayed one night if we had gotten to the property earlier. But was forced to stay one night as I could not secure another place to stay. We left after the first night to a different location. I would not recommend this property at all. "

"I had the best experience here. I had come here with a group 22 years ago at age 13. I had wanted to relive and reminisce being at the castle and my experience was just as it was 22 years later at age 35!! I adored the staff and their attention and care to me as a solo traveling female. I felt like they became more than staff during my time, but friends. They showed me the inside of the room I stayed in with my grandparents as a little girl. It was really special to walk though. I always felt safe, even walking around the property at night. I WILL be back sooner rather than (22 years) later. :) "
