Lovely country home on historic eight acre estate in the black hills

Allbright Haus is located on Rapid Creek in the Black Hills, but only eight miles from Rapid City. It has 3 brs with 2 king beds, one queen bed and 2 baths. Each bdrm has it's own flat screen TV plus LR has a 55' Flat tv. This home has a large covered veranda with a little gazebo , great for evening sitting and daytime picnics. The view is a manicured lawn surrounded by majestic spruce that goes on forever, and a sparkling creek , winding down the canyon. Large cooking kitchen with dinning room that seats three couples comfortably. Cozy library-sitting room with gas fireplace. Room to spread out! This home is perfect for 2-3 couples (Children 13 and above) who want to be spoiled after a day out in the Black Hills. How about a relaxing soak in your six person salt water spa? Ahh. This home is a treasure to be sure!!

Hi, Guest,From highway 44 West turn onto Thunderhead Falls rd. We are about a fourth of a mile into the canyon. You will see two rock posts with lights on top ,to your right with lights on top. Go in between them and your house will be on the left. Pull into the carport. The red door will be unlocked. Don't lock the second door please. The keys and information will be on the kitchen island. You are home!!

Heaven on Earth
What an amazing property. The homeowners Gary and Audry are so kind! This property is secluded so you have privacy, yet close enough to everything you want to see! We even had a mama and her three baby deer visit us every day.

This house is a little piece of heaven. The home was beautiful and in a lovely setting. The owners were very pleasant as well. We very much enjoyed calling this place home for our time there. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

I'm in the home rental business and not easily impressed but Audries is the quintessential Black Holls retreat; canyon, stream, quiet, manicured grounds and historic homestead with much charm, grace and spacious enough for large celebatory gatherings!

Beyond beautiful and tranquil stay!
We stayed at this home over Labor Day weekend to visit family in the area. This place was very clean, spacious and so comfortable for all. The location is now my favorite place in the Black Hill. Just beautiful! So relaxing to wake up every morning to the peaceful sound of the Rapid Creek just steps from the back door. We will definitely be staying here again.

Beautiful place with a large porch where we enjoyed our coffee each morning as we watched the parade of wild turkeys, deer, rabbits, chipmunks, and birds. The house was perfect and cozy.

We had a wonderful week in this home! Sitting out in the gazebo listening to the running creek, saw deer & turkey…so peaceful. Hot tub was great! The inside was clean, beds were comfortable. Probably one of the most well furnished kitchens we’ve ever had! Would definitely recommend!

Lovely setting in a convenient location
We stayed at this wonderful place while we explored Mt. Rushmore, Black Hills, Sturgis, Deadwood and Badlands. We really appreciated the air conditioners during a rare heat wave in the area. Great location to everything, but in a secluded serene spot next to creek. Hot tub relaxing after a day of touring.

Perfect stay in the Black Hills
My family and I (four kids)stayed here over July 4th. The house was nicely appointed both in the kitchen and the elsewhere like comfy beds and seating, flat screen TVs and we all loved the old radio in the kitchen. It got the kids going in the morning! Kids loved the hot tub and we all enjoyed the river sounds. Very serene, peaceful setting. Highly recommended!

Allbright Haus is a comfortable, spacious home in a convenient and lovely location. We enjoyed it!
We found Allbright Haus to be better than we expected. It was comfortable for three adults and was spacious enough also to be comfortable for six adults. The owners were cordial and available quickly when we needed help with several minor matters. The location of the property is lovely and quiet, and it has easy access to all of the major attractions in the area. We can enthusiastically recommend it!

My husband and I have probley rented at least 25 or so properties! This one by far has been the best!! I love older homes that have all the amenities that you need. Clean, quiet, the sounds of birds, the river, a hot tub, huge porch, big yard, great gazebo, an “ahhhh chair”, etc. oh and bunnies and deer in the lawn. The home is decorated perfectly - beds are comfortable and great linen!! Lastly, Gary and Audry, the owners are wonderful people!! We will return to this home!!

Peace and quiet.
The home is spacious and delightfully decorated. A cozy fireplace and library with comfy chairs to enjoy on a cool and rainy day. Kitchen is well equipped for most cooking prep needs. Grill was very nice. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening while watching the bats cruise the river and the fireflies come out at night. Easy access to other sites in the area. Off the road far enough to where you don't hear any traffic from Hwy 44. Room to park 3 cars. Absolutely nothing not to love!

Nice house. Awful owners.
The house is as described. “Welcoming” handbook is rude. The owners creepily spied on us during our visit and messaged to comment on our kids’ behavior. Then after we left they tried to extort $750 from us for “damages” that didn’t happen and for which they offered no explanation or evidence. We rent with VRBO all the time and have never ever had a problem. This was weird and uncomfortable. Don’t recommend.

Bugged Out!!
We have stayed at several different VRBO rentals over the years and this one ranks at the bottom, unfortunately. The home is quaint, great location and a bit like staying at grandma's. Our biggest issue with this rental were bugs and they were everywhere the entire visit. Crawling on the walls, on the ceilings, on the furniture, in the shower, on the beds and even crawling on us while trying to relax. This was not a relaxing stay to say the least. It was disgusting!! Our stay coincided with a recent snowfall so we were told by the owner that due to the temp change that the bugs were invading everywhere. Their solution was to come vacuum. Really? During a previous VRBO stay in Colorado when we noticed some bugs in the basement area, that owner had an exterminator out the very next day. We have never had an experience quite like this therefore I cannot recommend this rental listing.

Great property
This was a wonderful place to stay. There was plenty of room and we saw a lot of wildlife while relaxing on the gazebo/Veranda. The house was very comfortable and had all the comforts of a home away from home! The Host was very friendly and responded quickly to any inquiries we had. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to the area.
