Great place for fun and rest
We loved staying here and it was nice to have a solid place to explore from while still having some fun on site. Facilities were great and the house is well thought out. We had a nasty storm come in and thankfully had the garage to park in to prevent damage to our rental. The house was solid through the entire storm. Communication was great with the owner and we will definitely be back.

This property is outstanding and extremely clean. It is spotless. The family room is a great place after a day of seeing the sights. The hosts also go out of their way to make your vacation enjoyable. They provide directions to the main attractions, have SD travel brochures in the house highlighting the attractions, and in a first and very nice touch, they provided a detailed description of the restaurants they recommend. This home is conveniently located to the Badlands, Custer State Park, Needles Highway, Crazy Horse, and Mount Rushmore. Highly recommend

Centrally located, this house has everything you could ask for. The hosts were great, the house was great and the neighbors were even friendly even though we had California plates. I’d stay here in a heartbeat if we were in the area again.

Great rental for Badlands & Black Hills
We spent 3 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Good location, clean, well stocked and very comfortable house. Badlands about 1 1/4 hours away and well worth a visit. Black Hills, Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore all easy distance away. Walmart and gas stations very close by. We have stayed in many houses and the positives about this home are the communal lounge spaces which have plenty of room to relax, very good kitchen and a nice balcony.

Excellent home for Black Hills Base Camp
Very comfortable, clean and well stocked home for two couples. Located in a safe, quiet neighborhood and close to everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better “home base” for our explorations of the area. While we didn’t use the game tables downstairs, we can see where the basement would be a winner with families traveling with kids. Would reserve again if our travels ever brought us back to the area.

Perfect House and Location
This is our favorite VRBO in Rapid City. Great home away from home! If you like to cook at your VRBO, Tim has the kitchen well stocked! The house is very clean and organized. The bedrooms have firm mattresses and blackout blinds. It really is close to everything in town. The house worked great for our family and will absolutely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. My children had so much fun with the game tables downstairs. The gumball machine was a total hit with my youngest! Everything in this home was comfortable, cozy and welcoming. We didn't want to leave! The kitchen is gorgeous and beds are amazing. The owners are some of the sweetest, most helpful people you will ever meet. They were both kind and available for any questions we had during our stay, we are so appreciative of them. Location was perfect for all our activities. Anytime we venture back that way, this will be our go-to choice to stay, for sure!

A Perfect Home Away from Home!
We recently had the privilege of staying at this splendid VRBO home. The moment we stepped through the door, it was evident that the owners had put in a tremendous amount of effort to ensure that every aspect of the property was top-notch. The result? A perfect haven that exceeded our expectations. We needed a comfortable place to stay while my husband underwent surgery at the Black Hills Eye Institute. Its location is incredibly convenient, being a few minutes away to both the hospital and the Black Hills Regional Eye Institute. Moreover, it's a fantastic hub for exploring all the attractions the Black Hills have to offer. This property truly deserves a solid five-star rating in every regard. The owner's helpfulness was unparalleled. We wouldn't hesitate for a second to choose this home again for our future trips to Rapid City. The beds, which looked inviting in the online photos, were even more comfortable in person. The sheets were a dream to sleep in, and the pillows were heavenly. We were so impressed that we took note of the details so that we could purchase the same bedding for our own home. It's the little things like this that make a significant difference in your stay, and this VRBO home has certainly got them all right. Lastly, it's worth mentioning just how immaculate this home was. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that cleanliness was a top priority. Kudos to our fantastic hosts for maintaining such a pristine and welcoming environment.

Very Nice Home—We want to come back.
To be totally honest, I had a kidney stone and we had to head home the morning after checking in. We were so disappointed. Especially because the home was exactly as advertised and so very comfortable that we hated to leave. Communication with the owner was great. We will try this trip again and will definitely rent this home again.

Everything about the property was great. We didn't spend enough time in the house to use the pool and ping pong tables, but we were happy to have Netfllix and Prime access. We were happy to have the garage. Easy drive to downtown and everywhere in the Black Hills area.
