"We enjoyed the balcony for relaxing, reading, and eating. We appreciated the host allowing use of the garage under the quarters for parking. Big plus for those who are particular about their vehicle. Also enjoyed the quiet setting and the location to the small towns, lakes, and state parks. Would not hesitate to stay again to do more exploring of the area. The owner was friendly and inquired if all was ok when our paths crossed, but otherwise respected our time and privacy."

"Beautiful location. Wineries close by. Near Traverse City for restaurants and shopping. Hosts were next door and friendly. Just wish we had come earlier in the year because the water was too cold for swimming. Otherwise it was a fantastic visit. "

"Very comfortable home to stay in for a four generation girls trip. Very nice deck to hang out on and take in the view. Beds were comfortable but a little high for a bunch of short women. Our 79 yr old 4’9” aunt need a boost to get into the bed. She did really appreciate the walk in shower and not needing to step into a tub. Highly recommend this home!"

"We had our family of 6 (4 teens) over the 4th of July week. House is exactly as described. Loved having the extra bedroom and bathroom attached by breezeway. Kids enjoyed the main house while we had our own place. We rented a boat and were able to attach to mooring ball close to dock. Beach area was perfect. The house really has everything you can ask for."
