Family Fun
The location and property were very convenient to the grocercy store, and boatyard and main street Rangeley by water. The kids loved playing in the water. We would suggest a new latter be placed at the far right end of the dock to make getting out of the water more convenient and easier. The current latter is broken and the location is were the kayack and boat were moored. The camp could also use a couple of air conditioners. On hot days, the fans did not cool of the camp. We had a great time, ate outsides on the deck and used the fireplace for smores. We would love to go back.

unsure
Although the location is terrific, the interior from our point of view has a few corrections to be made.....a gate at the top of the stairs to the lower level (a serious fall that occurred could have had dire repercussions to the individual), the floors are very uneven in many places. Otherwise the facilities were fine and our family had a most enjoyable time, but we won't be back to that camp.

4th of July at Tilman Camp
We enjoyed our week at Tilman Camp! Great dock and fire pit area. Wonderful spot on the lake with excellent viewing of July 3rd fireworks! Great chance to detox from technology since this camp does not have internet or cable. Good privacy and easy access ti Rangeley and other amenities. Walk to water is steep so wouldn't be ideal for those with mobility issues.

Wonderful Rental!
What a wonderful home away from home! We had a great week! The rental was so clean and had everything we needed. Lots of pillows, linens, towels, games, DVDs, kitchen utensils and appliances, etc. We weren't missing a thing. If I had one suggestion, it would be to improve the "beachy walk-in area" to the lake. It was extremely small and hard to navigate. But that is just one tiny suggestion. Overall it was an amazing rental and we would highly recommed it! Thanks so much!

Tilman Camp 08/21-08/28
Lack of ladders on the dock made it harder for swimmers to get in and out of the water. It was a good sized camp to fit everyone in the party. Dog friendly was nice. Wonderful week with wonderful weather. Will be back in the region next summer.

Great stay on Rangeley Lake
Overall, we had a great stay at Tilman Camp. The cleaning staff did an awesome job, place was spotless. There were a few minor annyances like several bulbs being out, a few electrical outlets that didn't work, and no instructions for the propane fireplace which is needed on those cold fall nights. Nice space, lenty of room, and great location on the lake. Rented a boat, got out to tour the lake and do some fishing. Great long weekend getaway !!

Pretty good stay in Tilman Camp
The house has a lot going for it: great views across the lake, lovely deck and sun room for relaxing and loon watching, and a generally attractive layout. This is our second time in the house, with five years between visits. As some of the reviews have stated, some aspects of the accommodation are starting to show signs of advanced wear. At more than $2000 per week, the owners would do well to replace the mattresses, towels, and some of the rugs. These things didn't really harm our stay, but it would have been nice to have a more comfortable environment. This house isn't appropriate for very young children or people with movement limitations. The steep stairs between the first and second level emerge in the middle of the main floor and are a kind of death trap for little ones. And the lawn to the lake is very, very steep. With these provisos, we recommend the house.

Tilman Camp
This was a beautiful relaxing few days for my husband and I. We enjoyed being directly on the water and the home was quaint and perfect. Just a heads up to anyone looking to stay here there is no WiFi or cable. Also if you enjoy fishing I would suggest a boat rental. Shore fishing is not ideal in this area. Trout and Salmon are mid lake at a minimum of 40ft. (Locals told us this)

Tilman Camp
Lovely location and grounds. Beautiful views and great water access. The camp is well worn - definitely campy; however it is inviting and the loft is really nice.

Lakeside Rangeley Family Vacation
We had a great time at the Tilman Camp! We vacationed with two families of four. The loft for the kids was perfect. The dock was perfect for swimming and a boat we rented. This was a very relaxing vacation!

Great location to enjoy Rangeley Lake
Lovely and comfortable cabin to enjoy the lake. Great view of the lake from the wall of windows. Gentle slope to the lake. Just a short drive to the cute town of Rangeley. The dock at the house was perfect for our rented pontoon boat to explore the lake.

Tilman
The Tilman Camp had everything one would need to make a lake vacation thoroughly enjoyable. Its log-home decor and fully equipped kitchen made our stay very comfortable. Rangeley is a remote destination with select dining and gift stores. Exploring the lake by boat is a must.

Lovely camp on a lovely lake
Tilman Camp was the perfect place to enjoy Rangeley Lake. Great view of the lake from the front room which has a wall of windows. We even saw bald eagles fly by. A very comfortable home. Just a short drive into the cute town of Rangeley. The dock at the house was perfect for the pontoon boat we had rented to explore the lake. I would definitely stay here again.

The Tillman Camp was very
The Tillman Camp was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and cook all of our meals, even the gas grill on the deck was filled and worked well. It was nice that the docks were in so we could tie up our two fishing boats for the night. Enjoyed watching the bald eagle take fish off the lake right next to our boat! We look forward to another visit in the near future.

Little piece of heaven
All I can say is AMAZING! This place was so quiet, peaceful, private, and beautiful! Couldn't have been a better spot. The water was so clear and calm. The house was decorated so wonderfully! The loft was so great for our 3 boys! They loved having their own space up there! The ping pong table, and the little movie nook was perfect for the rainy days! We cannot wait to stay here again! Thank you for letting us stay at this wonderful place!!!
