"Amazing stay! We came here for our honeymoon, and it was the perfect choice. One of the owners of the lodge, Sebastien, even picked us up and dropped us off at the airport himself. We were really impressed with this level of service! He and his partner, Christophe, were always so kind to us. Christophe even went above and beyond to help us get money back when we encountered a scam off of the resort. All of our meals were incredible! It was really fun to be surprised at each meal with what was being served, and we never had anything we didn’t like. They were very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed for our excursions and even walked us to the beach to make sure we got one the right boat. One of our favorite experiences was walking to the beach with the lodge dog- Oro! Our first walk down, he was our guide! It was very impressive and adorable. The honeymoon suite was amazing! It is off on its own, so you get a little extra privacy. The views are amazing too. We would love to come back here again one day and would recommend this spot wholeheartedly. "

"Beautiful wildlife eco tourism facility. Many trails and opportunities right there to view the OSA Peninsula biodiversity. Meals were fabulous. We stayed in their one concrete “hobbit house” like facility which was Charming but lacked good sir circulation to cool down for sleeping despite 2 fans. "

Woke up each day to parrots singing and monkeys swinging by and drifted off to sleep each night to the magical solitude of the rainforest. "Very fun stay at Cotingas, despite the tours we had booked being cancelled because of excessive rain. Needless to say, that was no fault of the hotel but it did mean we spent more time there and realized what a great place it was. Excellent location right next to the town but still quiet; lots of animal sightings, a great view--albeit mostly of rain on this occasion--and very good service from the excellent staff. We want to go back to Drake Bay and do what we could not this time--and when we do we will certainly stay here again."
