We booked two nights but only stayed one as the toilet didnt work and when we got back in the arvo we had no water.the bedding was shir.mattress was shit.the front of house girl didnt give a shit.breakfast was so bad we didnt bother.the noise from trucks roaring by every two minutes all night made it impossible to sleep.looked like the toilets just ran into the bush.the worst place in asia. Of course wouldnt refund any money even our tourist tax. Absolute worst ever
the lodge is near to kundasang and ranau area. good place to stay

Nice alternative for Kinabalu Park
Great, cheap alternative for visiting Kinabalu Park. Walking distance from the entrance, and the bus for KK/Sandakan just outside the door.
Room is a bit budget, but nice blankets and hot shower.
The view and the food is great:-)
Nice room with natural environment view. Room price with breakfast and good viewing from our room.

Hotel nahe Kinabalu Nationalpark
+ Nahe zum Kinabalu Nationalpark
+ Sehr nettes Personal, haben auch Extra Anfragen berücksichtigt
+ Wäscheservice
+ Shop mit Sachen für Wanderungen
+ tolle Aussicht vom Restaurant
- Zimmer nicht so gemütlich, Sauberkeit ok, Bad sehr klein
the worst accommodation in my life, the very old room, the bathroom in a desolate state, the window in the room can not be closed, all night, I heard the noise of cars out of road, the disgusting breakfast I donated to the local cat. Wifi was only in restaurant. Only one things was good, very close to entrance Kinabalu Park
Very poor they have a large dog chained 24/7 in the restaurant/seatn area barks at everyone and anything very cruel . The bed, sheets and blankets ( threadbare/ holes oxfam would probly reject them) all damp Leechs in the bathroom food so so.
Defo a get them in get them out get their money place no effort at customer relations

The view was so beautiful, the home-stay surrounded with variety of beautiful flowers, and the owner are friendly too. they have their own restaurant. The food served was fresh and delicious. A must try and eat fresh veggies from the farm.

The location is pretty good being a 10 minute walk to the Kinabalu National park. The staff are friendly and produce good meals although breakfast is very basic and almost inedible. The biggest negative is the condition of the accommodation and its cleanliness. I wouldn't mind too much but we were paying prices much higher than the standard offered. The owners need to spend some of the profits they are making on renovation and repair of existing facilities.

The view was great. The outside area as well if it would not have been cold at this time. I think if you bring warm clothes as jacket and warm pyjamas, you could enjoy your stay.
However, since it can get quite cold there at night, the two thin blankets were not enough for anybody. An extra blanket can be rented but involves extra charge. A water cooker can be rented per day as well against charge. Haha, it is discouraging when you brought like me instant noodles and own tea to keep costs down.
I guess what mainly bothered me that i had not the choice of self preparing my own stuff.
