Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. "Property was brilliant area excellent as I know it well being from Walker originally.Could not fault the cottage apart from the obviously inflated price for Sam Fender concert. As a Geordie this didn't go down too well. A must if you are a visitor to the area as it is set in an idyllic and central area for almost everything worth visiting in Newcastle area and beyond."

"Lovely cottage in Fremington. Nicely furnished and exactly as advertised. Kitchen has a washer/dryer which is very handy and a dishwasher. Nice bathroom with shower over bath and plentiful hot water. Beds really comfortable and loads of space upstairs. "When travelling with my elderly mother who has a mobility aid, it is often difficult to find a place as comfortable as this. Everything is on one level (no steps), a walk-in shower with a shower chair, and it was warm and cosy when the weather became cold. There were gifts for us on arrival as well! Biscuits, wine... what a treat! "

So we booked here for the hot tub and the relevant ease of running a Park Run on the Saturday. After running this Park Run we returned back to the accommodation for our day of in and out of the hot tub. "Had a lovely time staying here for a few days. We had a couple of places we had on our bucket list and this was a good base. Didn’t get a chance to see the arch near by by as it was raining. Only advise would be to have a sign where the holiday homes are as we used the postcode and nav took us to road down the road. Thank you for loaning us your pass for the Beamish Living Museum, had a lovely day even though we got a little wet. "
