Beautifully renovated Georgian Cobbler's shop featuring quirky shoe ornaments in a nod to it's industrial heritage. This unique, characterful, cosy cottage has a downstairs shower room, plus a gorgeous upstairs ensuite with bath.

In Ramsgate's Conservation Area, with boutique shops & bars, cafes & restaurants, the Royal Harbour & sandy beaches.

Perfect for 1 or 2 couples, families or couple of friends. Staying at Cobbler's Cottage is an AirBNB experience as well as a well earned break.

Cobbler's Cottage is a comfortable, well thought out space which provides a perfect cosy retreat when holidaying in Ramsgate, Broadstairs or Margate.

If you prefer a home, then our cottage is home from home. It is thoughtfully decorated with gorgeous details that make it just that extra bit special.

DOWNSTAIRS - Open plan living with lounge/dining/kitchen

*LOUNGE*

The lounge has two sofas, one positioned so you can watch TV, or chat or snooze with a book. There is a feature wall created from wood which brings warmth and character to the space. Many cobbler's tools and quirky items to bring it's heritage to life.

*DINING SPACE*

We have four stools at a good size breakfast bar where you can enjoy a coffee, a good meal or a few cocktails. This is also a good space for home working, setting up the laptop and catching up on emails.

*KITCHEN*

The compact kitchen is fully spec'd with beautiful grey cupboards. You will find everything you need to cook up a delicious meal, or warm up a meal in the microwave - whatever your preference. We do also have a dishwasher and a washing machine.

*CLOAKROOM*

Small space for hanging up clothes and putting shoes out of the way. There is a wall heater in here to warm the space and dry wet things from the beach.

*SHOWER ROOM - downstairs*

Gorgeous walk in shower with feature screening, modern suite with toilet and hand basin. Lovely lighting and ambience makes this space feel like a warm hug

UPSTAIRS

*BEDROOM 1 with ensuite*

Super comfy double bed, bedside tables with chargers, industrial style bedside lights and plenty of hanging and storage space. Upstairs rooms are fully carpeted so when you step out of bed you sink into the new carpets. The ensuite has a beautiful bath with a hand held shower over, a toilet and handbasin.

*BEDROOM 2*

Another super comfy double bed, carpeted room with lots of hanging and storage space. We have provided a chair to sit on and rest after a busy day exploring

We love our Ramsgate holiday home, it's amazing spot tucked away off a Georgian square, it's just so special and we have made the cottage a home with lots of lovely ornaments, furniture and our own unique styling. We love welcoming guests to our special place and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

You'll be able to access all areas, no restrictions. The courtyard garden is enclosed with a rear gate, we ask that you don't use the rear gate.

I live nearby and I also have a local manager who can help with any issues that you may incurr whilst visiting.

On the doorstep of Addington Street which is a burgeoning street of unique and independent shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Take a short walk to the stunning Ramsgate Harbour, which is full of restaurants, pubs and cafes. Ramsgate boasts a large sandy beach and when the tide is out you can walk along the beach to Broadstairs.

The Harbour is a lovely walk around to the Harbour Arm where you can enjoy looking at the plethora of little boats and yachts.

Waitrose is only a 5 minute walk from the property, and Ramsgate High Street is a bustling street with chemists, grocers, butchers and many other shops. It is a short drive or bus journey to Westwood Cross, an out of town shopping area with M&S, Dunelm Mill and TKMAXX.

The cottage is situated in the heart of a Georgian Conservation area, as with many towns parking can be limited but you can usually find a free space on nearby streets or there is a paid for public car park within 5 minutes walk.

Once at the property everything is on your doorstep, seconds from a little Londis, 5 mins from Waitrose. The cottage is situated on a quiet side road off Addington Street, which has plentiful quirky shops, bars and restaurants. You are also only 5 minutes from the harbour and beaches. Perfect location to park the car up for the weekend and explore the town.

There is a bus stop about 5-7 minutes walk and the buses will take you to nearby Broadstairs + Ramsgate. The train station is approx 15 minutes from the from the property, where there are direct train links into London St Pancras every hour.

As this is an old building the stairs are quite steep, so be aware if booking for young children (no stair gates provided) or the infirm.

The property was nicely decorated, with really stylish touches. It was convenient for walking into the town centre and surrounding areas. Access to the property was straight-forward and communication with the property management company was helpful, clear and informative. A nice stay all round.

Lovely cottage
The cottage is a great little place for a family, one could call it a bijou little place. The outside space is tiny and not a garden at all, just a patio, so not really suitable for a dog. The second bedroom has the en-suite, so the main bedroom with the full size bed needs to use the downstairs bathroom Great location but no parking as it’s a very narrow street. Great Hosts and amenities.
