"Clean, friendly, and a fantastic location across from Balliol College. That said, our room faced Broad Street which can be a little noisy at night. Also, the rooms are located above the shops and require navigating somewhat narrow and steep staircases. "

"Jack and wife good . The whole experience was as good as it needed to be. Didnt like the electricals too many socket extensions and trailing cables. Room service fell away to the end of the week. Clean enough and always warm."

"We had a lovely one night stay at The Stump while visiting our son who lives in Cirencester. It’s very well located and just what we were hoping for. Our room was warm and comfortable and well furnished, the service was friendly. Breakfast was nice and we had an evening meal the night before which was delicious. "

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. We got the third level room and it was nice and served its purpose. My only complaint with the room was that the bathroom absolutely reeked of mold. Other than that, the location was great, very walkable, and we enjoyed our stay (other than the terrible mold smell). "

"Really nice accommodation. Clean, comfortable, and handy location. Numerous buses go to centre of Oxford and 13 min walk to eateries n shops in Headington. Several nice pubs. Staff at Conifers lovely and go that extra mile to help. Sorted out a taxi for us when we needed one urgently and got them to prioritise us. They were great. They also do breakfast. "We stayed for 2 nights for a special birthday. The communications beforehand were informative and friendly. When we arrived the welcome was warm and the property was lovely. It was exactly as described as well as being clean and well equipped. The outside space was also excellent with a good sized, enclosed and safe garden.
