"Good basic accommodation. It's off the motorway and very convenient for a stopover on a long drive. Not close to anything other than the motorway, so more of a motel. Accommodation is average 3 star. Staff are friendly and courteous. Breakfast is excellent and generous. Overall, very good value, but don't expect more than the basics. "We booked this hotel last minute and it was fantastic. The hotel staff were all so friendly and helpful. The room was massive and spotless with great facilities including a roof terrace. There was very effective air con and a great shower. Wifi was good too. Dinner was nice and a reasonable price. The breakfast was lovely and varied. It was perfect for us. We would have stayed longer if we had the time. "
