The Brazos River is a short walk or quick car ride from the cabin. Riverside patio provides access to river for fishing, and when the river is low (i.e. not raging) there is access to a beach - ideal for children to play in the water, look for fossils and arrowheads.

Property is close to historic Glen Rose, Dinosaur Valley State Park and Fossil Rim Wildlife Preserve. Great little getaway!
Stan and Kay are very nice and we loved meeting their dogs and their sons dogs! A great place to stay. We enjoyed the campfire outside. Not too far from Granbury, TX.

Our family enjoyed the Easter weekend at the cabin and we are already planning another stay. Very quite and peaceful. Great fishing area! Great friendly hosts. We were sad to leave and can’t wait to stay again!

Great Cabin for weekend relaxation
This is a great place to come and enjoy the peace and quiet. They even provided firewood for a Saturday evening fire pit and farm fresh eggs for the next morning. Nice touch!
