There are some steps into town but very close. Loved the walk up the steps to the top of Taormina for sunset views across Etna. Already recommending to friends and family. "

Views from the large terrace on Mt Etna and on the sea from the front side are priceless. A car is indispensable. Easy to reach by country roads not far from Messina / Catania autostrada. Mario and Angela are wonderful hosts."

"We stayed at villa carlino in the “Esclusivo ” apartment for 3 nights . The grounds were beautiful, the bedrooms / bathrooms were comfortable and all was clean . Unfortunately it rained for 2 days while we were there and we couldn’t enjoy the pool . It would have been nice to have an indoor hang out area ( living room ) where all six of us could fit . The location is great for getting to Etna and Taormina ."

"We have just spent the most wonderful holiday in this villa. The owners certainly understand what it means to be a host. Communication before, during and after our stay was perfect: complete but not overly intrusive. The home was clean and elegant. The layout of 4 separate bedrooms and bathrooms gives each room privacy, while the common living areas are conducive to socialising with friends or family. This will forever be remembered by us as a place of joy, beauty and comfort."

Daniella and her husband were fantastic hosts. They live on site so check-in was really swift and punctual, they cleaned the pool early every morning, changed towels half way through our holiday and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. "Villa Emma is just as described, beautiful!! The house was perfect and the pool was our favorite hang out spot. It is nestled among 4,000 orange trees with a view of the sea and Mt Aetna. The location made it very easy to see sites. Would recommend and can’t wait to bring my kids back!!!"

"We had a lovely 10 days in your clean, spacious villa. Perfect for a family of two adults and two teenagers looking to relax and explore the beautiful island of Sicily. We loved the 4x4 tour of etna you organised for us and we explored the local towns and villages. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the food good and inexpensive. The Lido, just across the road was very welcoming and a great place to swim though the fantastic villa garden was also well used. Dinner on the roof terrace...

"Villa Voces is an authentic Sicilian villa. You have a wonderful view of Mount Etna, we were lucky enough to see a slight eruption, it was spectacular! The kitchen is fully equipped. It was immaculately clean as was the bedding & towels. The pool area was great for sitting & drink coffee & wine… lots of it from Lidl which is only down the road! The villa is on an exceptionally busy road & you can not walk anywhere so you definitely need a car. The air con is also very loud but kind of lulls you...

"Our children loved the pool which is deep and set in a small garden with terracotta pots all around it. The area is quiet and close to the airport and was easy to find. There's also plenty of parking close by. Thanks Francesca and Valentino!"

"Amazing hotel. Lives up to the reviews we researched before our stay. The staff are very helpful and the food is very tasty if you choose to eat at the hotel in the evening. A few things to be aware of: 1) it’s not close to lots of other bars and restaurants so expect to drive or take taxis to get about to the main towns 2) the two restaurants near the hotel were both enjoyable food but I would be careful of the bill - we were overcharged both times. 3) make sure you ask the cost of the taxi...

"I loved this property. It was in a very beautiful location. It's not a very convenient location for walking, you need to take the taxi to get the station station and bus stop was not easy to find. The main area Piazza IX Aprile and shopping area is about 15-20min walk. Isola Bella is really far but doable about 30min walk. The hotel staff was really wonderful and helpful. Lufthansa lost our bag and we didn't get it back until the 3rd day. The staff did everything with calling the delivery guy and airport to see what they can do with speeding up process. The breakfast was delicious. Btw this was there last week before they close for the season November 8-15. "

"The staff were wonderful. Check in and out was quick and easy. We had maintenance people come quickly for a problem with our refrigerator and toilet. The breakfast was outstanding. The lobby is beautiful. The property is a bit aged and needs some updating. "
