"It was a cozy cottage stay with plenty of room for two couples. Having the second kitchen and fridge downstairs was a bonus. Sadly, it was too cold to take advantage of the outdoor areas but it would be a great place in warmer weather to grill and sit around the fire. "

"We had a family wedding in Gordonsville and couldn’t resist staying in this wonderful little cottage. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was how clean and neat the cottage was. It’s an older home, but had all the modern amenities that we needed and we’re very pleased with all the comforts that were provided. They thought of everything. "My sister and I visited over a long weekend during Parent’s Weekend at nearby Blue Ridge School. From start to finish, the weekend was fantastic. I was worried that check-in would be tricky because we arrived late, but they literally “left a light on for us” and made it simple. "We absolutely loved our stay here. The property had so much charm and a pasture with the cutest cows and right next to a vineyard. The small touches of hospitality (welcome note, gift basket, extra toiletries, bath caddy with. The fire pit was lovely. Only downside was it wasn't as secluded as we expected and the listing said there was a pool, but there wasn't one (not a big deal as it wasn't in the photos). I would absolutely recommend this place to others and hope to come back again some time."

"Was a little bumpy getting into the rental but wires got crossed so no one’s fault. The owner was very nice and a big help getting me in! The back yard is huge and the short hiking trail was great. My dog also became friends with a frog that showed up in the front yard everyday. Ha "
