"Hotel was fine. Comfy beds decor was a bit stark. Rented a suite with a kitchen but it had no plates or silverware or anything. Staff was very kind and helpful. "

"Hotel was empty, asked for a room with a better view (a few doors from our room) so that we can see the ocean unobstructed. There were no difference in rates in the rooms. The service agent lied to us that the hotel was fully booked (I could have reserved 10 rooms on Expedia that minute) and did not even look at our request. The room was dirty so was the washroom. Clearly they want to be an upscale resort but are really not."

"Hotel Carlia provided us a comfortable stay for our one night in Uddevalla. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains conveniently shielded us from any of the light during midsummer. "We stayed one night. The room was small but the bed comfortable although it was against the wall so not so convenient to get out of. We had dinner in the restaurant as we had received a discount for food. The menu was a bit limited but ok. B'fast was good even if did not have a massive choice. The staff was friendly and the location is walking distance to the harbour and centre of town plus there are a few parking spaces. "

"Very average. Couldn't find a parking space when I arrived. Dinner finishes at 20:00, obviously this is too early. Shower had mould in it. Breakfast was nothing special, first Hotel I have ever stayed at with no black tea? On the plus side the bed was clean and comfortable. "

"Great spot, right by the water and in the middle of nature. The hotel has a spa/gym we didn’t use and a sauna (which was amazing). Great staff. If there is one thing that could be improved it would be the breakfast as it was very simple. These are special circumstances but I expected a way better breakfast for the price we paid for the night. "

"Trevlig stuga med närhet till allt. Ligger smidigt vid havet :) tyvärr är den i behov av lite fix. Diskmaskinen håller på att rasa ihop. Övre hyllan trasig. Det tror jag visserligen kommer åtgärdas inför sommaren. Bäddsoffan var inte skön men det är de ju sällan. Missade vid bokningen att det inte fanns tv. det saknade vi. Annars supertrevligt! "
