"Receptionist was most unfriendly to the point of ignorance. The room price demanded on arrival was 50% more than advertised on the website. When this was pointed out he just asked if I had a booking - if not then this was the only price available. I refused to pay extra, went online and booked through an agency for the advertised price and went to the desk again with my booking confirmation. He slapped the paperwork, passport and room key on the desk, pointed to the sky and turned his back on me…I think he is not happy in his job."

"Lovely hotel. Not sure it warrants four stars, but very friendly and clean. One thing, the windows open outwards with the opening starting only 6 inches from the floor on the third floor with a nothing to stop someone falling out. I have a photo but cant upload. Sorry."

"Lovely relaxing stay in the Scandinavian attic space of the Amaloka holiday home.We travelled as a family of 4 with our dog. Erapel was a fantastic host, giving us lots of useful information on places to visit and walk nearby. The attic space is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. It has everything you need. We had a lovely relaxing time and will be back! "
