"Quiet, clean. Strange TV setup and no hairdryer or standard closet. Didn’t care for soap dispensers in shower or sink area. i think it is geared travelers for one night stays and fishermen."

"This home is located in a great spot directly across from the park playground and splash fountain. We could easily take out young kids there daily. The fenced in yard was great for kids and our dog. The kitchen was well stocked, the only down side to the home is the flooring is slanted in a couple spots. If that bothers you it may not be the best home, but to us it was fine being an older home and all. The originsL features were great! We would come back."

"We planned a quick get-a-way and decided to come to Cape Charles to spend the day and stay over night. The house was charming with plenty of room. The owners communicated well and they were very accommodating on my last minute trip planning. The beach wasn’t far at all and town was in walking distance with nice weather. We came in March so it wasn’t perfect beach weather but we are hoping to come back when it’s warmer! "

"Check in was a breeze and the receptionist was very friendly. The hotel itself is not new but the room was very clean with updated furniture and floors. It is obvious the owners take care of it. I was only there for one night with an early morning appointment so can't say much about the surrounding area other than it was convenient to my appointment."

"This property is absolutely beautiful and the home is well appointed as well as charming. It literally is a working farm on the Chesapeake Bay which is a wonderful experience. You will enjoy restful quiet evenings sitting at the outdoor fire while star gazing and listening to the wildlife. The chickens and cows were really fun to watch, and there are plenty places on the property to explore. I will say the best part of this trip was meeting Ellen and her family who go above and beyond to ensure...
