Absolutely love this area. My only complaints are the walls at lodge are paper thin and we could clearly hear the guy in the room next to us snoring and not a ton of reasonably priced meal ootions

Nice Getaway at the Elk House
"We enjoyed our stay at the Elk House and would come back again. It’s a great house and such a peaceful area. We didn’t see any elk, sadly, but enjoyed spending mornings and evenings on the porch. Nice getaway
"Beautiful little cottage that was the perfect size. It is very well apportioned and the hot tub was amazing. It was quiet, peaceful, and seeing the stars for a change was a very nice bonus. Looking forward to staying again."

"Impeccably maintained, pristine condition, thoughtfully and amply stocked for guests' comfort, quiet and serene location, excellent access to the beach. Our rescue dogs loved racing down the short path through the small dunes to the wide open beach."

Gatton falls was an easy hike. Merriman Falls was even more spectacular and it is right off of the road. Don't miss the largest spruce tree next to the property.
