Carlos, the person that met us was not very friendly. After I contacted Jorge, at the number listed on the website who was in Medellin at the time and apparently was his boss, he tried to fix the issues that we encountered. We reserved a room with two beds so he and a helper brought and set up the extra bed. He left to go to town and took way too long. I had to call Jorge again because when I went to check the shower there was no running water. When he got back he was mad because I called his boss. However, he had never given us his number and we didn’t even know his name. He said that he had forgotten to open the water line. By the way, they do not have hot water and there isn’t even a mirror in the bathroom. Only 2/30 rooms have TV due to trying to avoid robberies from people breaking in. I was about to leave to get another place when he fixed the water issue. They said they did not include breakfast but since my reservation advertised breakfast they complied and served us breakfast in the morning. It was good. The next day, he was apologetic and had a better attitude. I gave Jorge some pointers to improve the quality of service. This is a hotel that was closed during the pandemic and they are trying to get it running again. The place looks a little rundown and they have to fix it. Only 3/30 rooms were occupied at time. On the bright side, the place was clean and the bed was comfortable. They say the mattresses are still new. Overall, I give them 2/5 stars.
