"The hotel has a slightly unusual exterior—possibly a converted building from the old Manston airfield—but don’t let that put you off. Inside, the facilities are simple, but everything is immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. The rooms are very tidy and comfortable. What really stood out was the staff: friendly, helpful, and exceptionally accommodating. They even went out of their way to rearrange furniture to create a dog-friendly space for breakfast. A great stay if you value cleanliness and warm hospitality."

"I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the Twentieth Century B&B. I stayed at the David Bowie room. Everything was an original item from the 70s, including the bed, coat hanger, chair, etc. The room was lovely decorated with the theme, and the best thing was the bathroom. The bathtub was oh.so.perfect! And they even provide you with a bath bomb if you request 💗 The area was very quiet and I slept really well. The B&B was within walking distance of the beach. I was fortunate to arrive at a day when I was the only guest, so I got a tour of all the rooms, and I was really impressed with the amount of detail they've put into decorating each room. They are all lovely and make me wish to stay in each of them 殺 The breakfast was delicious. Especially the poached egg, it was perfect and moreish; they've told me all about how they've perfected the poached egg recipe and the secret to a good poached egg ☺️"

"Couldn't have asked for more for a short stay in Margate. 2 mins walk to the beach and very close to the centre and main amenities. Very dog friendly which is a plus, but still exceptionally clean. Room facilities excellent - lots of towels, very comfy bed, toiletries and plenty of tea & coffee. Jim is an exceptional host; the best we have ever had; cannot do too much for you. Great welcome and chat about what there is to see and do in the local and surrounding areas, buses etc. Jim, you are fab! and we hope the business continues to thrive."

"What a beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. Right next to Manston airport with all the RAF & Spitfire history to enjoy. A short drive from so many amenities and ever such easy access to the coast of Kent.The cottage has so much history and the pictures do not do it justice. The living room is much bigger than we expected! The cottage is in a beautiful little quiet courtyard with an easy drive round circle to get through the access archway. The turn in from the road is a little hidden but the host has installed multicoloured lights to help late arrivals find the opening easily. She also called us with very detailed directions and descriptions so we could find the cottage easily, which was really helpful.We were staying in the depth of winter and the cottage heating system did the job of keeping us warm very nicely. The bathroom is modern with plenty of hot water at all times. The kitchen was perfectly adequate for 2 people's needs and the oven cooked evenly and at the temperature we expected (sometimes it's hit and miss in cottages!) but it would be good if an additional oven shelf could be put in I think. One shelf was a bit of a juggle.We loved our stay at this cottage with the ever so warm welcome, wonderful information about the local area and the absolute peace and quiet of the location.I had to work from the cottage for half a day and the WiFi did not let me down, which was great.Highly recommend this accommodation. Simply lovely."
