"Very quirky property, traditional French style in middle of St Valery with everything this beautiful town has to offer on the doorstep. Public parking available on the road just up from hotel. We stayed in Lawrence of Arabia suite which was interesting. Room to spread out in living area. Breakfasts are fantastic, with lovely fresh produce. Lovely host. "

"Chance au Roy is situated in the countryside outside Aigneville. The accommodation is part of an estate, the owners living in a chateau the accommodation is in the grounds. It’s a beautiful setting but in need of some restoration. When we arrived we had a lovely welcome from Elizabeth the owner, she hadn’t been expecting us, despite booking ,but showed us a room that was available. "We have had a brilliant week at this beautiful villa. The location is perfect, the beach is beautiful and the villa is large and well equipped. The host was very friendly and laid back. "Lovely clean and modern apartment for the night, 5 minute walk to the dunes/beach and the local town. Aircon didn't seem to be very effective and it was a warm night which did cool down by the morning. Had a nice dip in the pool in the evening and it's nice that the pool has late access.
