"Very unusual to have a totally automated check-in and check out system. It felt a bit impersonal but it worked well and was very efficient. The hotel is great. It's relatively small and a little quirky but very homely. It is positioned high up with superb valley views. The only downside was the very loud church bell just across the road that rang out regularly from 6am onwards. It wasn't a problem for us as it served as an alarm call, but would be more problematic if you are looking for a lie in. "

"The hotel was very comfortable and well appointed. The scenery was beautiful and there were paths nearby for walks. The church bells and cowbells provided a nice ambience. We did not realize that the hotel was part of a campus that included the Sisters Of Mary when we booked but it was a nice surprise when we arrived. "
