It was an enjoyable stay. The only issue was it was quite far by road from the people we were visiting (quite close as the crow flies). The views were spectacular!

Loved this stay. The place was clean, exactly like the photos. Kitchen was adequately stuffed . The hostess was nice and friendly, she accommodated our schedule. The only thing to take into account is this place is far from the city centre. I would highly recommend this place

Great stay
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is a bit of a drive from Qualicum Beach so you have to have all of your groceries otherwise it’s a bit of a drive to town. The host was very kind and lovely. We will definitely come back again!

The house was spacious. Though it has one bathroom, the bedrooms are big enough. All amenities were working. The place was in gated community, and well surrounded by nature. From Main street is bit of drive to get in and out.

This is a great place to come for a vacation. If you want to get away from everything. It is a little far out of town somewhere around 25 to 30 minutes out. But it is a great place beautiful views. And very quiet. I would most definitely stay again.

Quiet Clean Spot
A little out of the way and we did miss not having a barbecue, but overall, great place. Well maintained, well stocked and peaceful and quiet at all times!

Excellent property and host
We (2 adults) stayed with our dog and everything about the property was as described, easy to access and clean. The big tub was a nice touch. There was coffee, tea and sugar there, which was nice as we only stayed 2 nights and didn’t need to buy our own. Would 100% recommend.

Nice location. About 20 minutes from closest town. Quiet. Beautiful property. Nice size house and 4 beds for 4 adults. Helpful owner. Maps instructions were wrong, called Owner and she assisted. Our first time with VRBO and we will do it again. Great experience. Great Vacation!

What a great place to stay!
The home is in a quiet area with the most amazing view of the night sky. We saw deer and rabbits in the yard and heard the birds in the surrounding woods. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfy and the bathroom is big. At the end of a busy day it's so easy to settle in and relax there, either watching a movie in the living room or lounging on the patio watching the stars. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful with info about the home and on what to do in the surrounding areas. We would definitely stay there again.

Mountain Retreat
If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable retreat away from the maddening world, this is the place. Extremely quiet at night and wake to the birds singing. One bath for 4 women takes some planning but we did it. Thanks so much.

Peaceful stay
The property was exactly as shown in the posting. This bright suite is very peaceful with a full kitchen, spacious living area, comfortable beds and a whirlpool bathtub. Lots of natural light with large buried overlooking the trees. Perfect for a relaxing stay or time spent with family and friends. Set apart from the more touristy area, the drive to the beach and highway did not seem long at all. Our host Valerie was respectful of our privacy but was available if we needed her.

Amazing house
A lovely house in a very nice and quiet location. The house was very clean, spacious and well decorated. We had everything we needed. It was conveniently located for the places we wanted to visit. The recommendations from the owner were very good. The kids loved the mini golf and the Splash park in Parksville. We also visited Coombs, Horne Lake caves and Englishman river Falls. It was nice to be so close to the Little Qualicum Falls, we could even go to swim. A very lovely place

Lovely wee mountainside retreat!
My wife, 9yo son and I stayed at this VRBO first week of July 2023, and had a tremendous time! The bedrooms were perfect, just what we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and pretty. We also appreciated the free streaming (Prime & Netflix) after long adventurous day outings! Only reasons 4 stars not 5: No laundry and no air conditioning - But even without these i would definitely highly recommend this VRBO on Van Isle!! - Al

Clean family suite
Suite is super clean with plenty of room for a family or two. Three bedrooms with comfy beds, full kitchen, dining and living room. Super spacious bathroom with a huge soaker tub that my grandson dubbed a ‘pool’. Outdoor space where you can dine or enjoy the area views (No ocean view) A bit of a drive from town but small local store nearby if you need milk or snacks. Owner right next door and super responsive if needed. We had a relaxing stay and had everything we needed.

The place was absolutely beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. Did not see the ocean view that was boasted in the ad, the biggest downfall was the drive. The place was 30 minutes from anything, after a long drive all day it was exhausting that we had to all get back in the car and drive around for anther 45 minutes to get food

Great little place up on the hill
Very clean. Pictures matched what place was. A little bit of a drive from qualicum beach area but worth it to get away from the “city” feel! So quiet! Host easy to get ahold of. Lots of dishes / pots and pans etc Could use with some basic supplies like Saran Wrap and little plastic baggies but did have tin foil. Even saw a beautiful deer in the back yard! Would come back

Family Vacation
Overall exactly what we expected. Room and space for everyone. It's a little out of the way 20min from town but easy to find. Came with a few nice touches, coffee, tea, seran wrap, ziplock bags...so nice Would have loved a BBQ, a cookie sheet, hand soap in the kitchen and a spatula. Wil we come back? Yes! Kids loved the bathroom hot tub! All three in the tub at the same time, amazing.

Things needed
The home could use another couch or a couple recliners, as there is only 1 couch. Could also use a BBQ, some big knives that are sharp. One of the rooms could really use a king size bed the queens are just too small. Otherwise if that was all changed i would stay there again for sure. Very quiet.
