"Affordable stay at a 4-star hotel. But our rooms were too hot. When we pointed out that the room temperature felt like 28 degrees when we set it at 23 degrees, the response of the reception was "it is winter. heating is turned on during the winter. try turning off the heater or open the window." Sorry but heaters are supposed to automatically turn off once the room temperature exceeds the set temperature. And even when we turned off heating and opened the window, the room temperature still did...

"For the price in China, this hotel was not worth it. A water bed? Also, the shower did not properly work and the front desk staff was pretty unhelpful. Wouldn't have expected anything too fancy, but for 20-30$, you could easily find similar accommodation in Qingdao."
