We were given a free upgrade as celebrating a special occasion (thank you) but this unfortunately backfired on us as we had a room on the 8th floor which had very loud pump and water running continuously throughout the night. Busses ran on time and on a whole everything was cost effective, especially the shop within the hotel. Also the hotel decor is fitting regarding the time it was built. "Our third stay here and as good as previously. Although the bus station is so near and convenient the hotel is in a quiet location. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Room had everything we needed. Particularly liked the room lighting. Often hotels have bedroom lighting too dim to read by. Reception staff very helpful.. Will stay again."
