"The Mamlouk Pyramids Hotel over delivered in terms of location and view. The balcony room and restaurant had a gorgeous sunrise view of the pyramids and we were literally around the corner from Giza Plateau. The staff did not complain at all for having to wait up until 4 am to check us in. "

"The staff at Sama truly are the best. They are extremely accommodating and helpful and made the check in process very easy. I forgot some jewelry in my room after checkout and they were very kind enough to hold it for me in the meantime that I could come pick up. Location is super convenient to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was also great and they bring it to your room. Really enjoyed the stay here."

"Went for the first time to Cairo, had our doubts but soooo worth the visit. If you get the chance to upgrade the room to suite do it. We stayed at a suite with garden, zoo and pyramid views breathtaking. The service is exceptional, the room service meals amazing. Well worth the price. Would stay there a million times more. We were sooo sad to leave. They made our stay unforgettable. "

I didn’t like the furniture that needs upgrading within 2-3 years, I didn’t like room service that needed a new menu and chef, I didn’t like the relative lack of training of staff at concierge and overall. I didn’t like being told all restaurants open until 1 am when only two were open. I didn’t like the smell of the cigar room reception. I didn’t like the Lebanese restaurant Zaitouni; it should be replaced immediately. "
