"The property was a pleasant surprise. Whilst dated and in some places showing signs of wear (toilets and bathrooms) , the staff were so friendly and the amenities are excellent. Ideally located within minutes of Valetta, they have a shuttle that runs every 20 mins to take you up the hill (though it wasn't as bad as the pictures make out!) We will go back again! "

"We had a great stay at the hotel and they made us feel so welcome. We travelled to Malta for our first family hiliday with our 8month year old and the hotel was so accommodating. Recommend for families and couples who want to relax as the area is safe and quiet. Only negative was there was a lot of construction around the property which made it hard to walk to St Julian’s with a baby and the pram. "

"Very nice hotel with modern facilities. Staff are extremely professional and helpful. The breakfast buffet is delicious. The hotel location is very convenient to all major attractions, shopping, and fine dinning. The rooftop bar with swimming pool has a stunning view. My wife and I had a nice time in Malta and plan to come back and will stay at the Gromeco Hotel again."

"Wow so glad I booked a sea view room, it was like a suite! Huge bathroom, separate living area with sofa, balcony with seating. Great location, 10 min walk to the ferries to go across to Valletta or the cruises to Gozo. Staff lovely, good choice at breakfast of both hot and cold continental foods. Fridge in our room too. Mattresses are memory foam which seemed very firm (I’m used to super soft) We had no time to use the voucher for the fantastic pool across the road but it looked great, and heated too. Handy little shop next door for drinks, snacks, souvenirs. Would 100% stay again but book the sea view room again. 10/10"

"The hotel is huge, despite it looking older than its rivals, the internal decoration was good and was very clean. The rooms were large and we had a seaview. I can find little fault with our stay here. We visited in February and despite some building work going on (which was well advertised) there is plenty to see and do. The evening entertainment was very good. The food choices were fantastic (something for everyone) with of course unlimited drinks in the food restaurants and bars if you are doing AI. The roof top pool has spectacular views and is definitely worth a visit, even if you don't want to dip your toes in the cooler water found in Feb. The indoor pool in the sub-basement is really catered for the spa customers even though it is open to everyone. Based on the 'open to everyone' the changing areas need to be much larger in regards to actual undressing etc and the Sauna and Steam room do need to be larger, but i can appreciate that in peak season these areas would be rarely used. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and what i would say, is those people that moan about this and that, are talking rubbish. Where else can you get a room, all inclusive food and drink for approx £60 a night !! I would not hesitate to book this hotel again. The staff work extremely hard to try and make everyones visit the best that they can."
