"Hidden gem in the Peloponnes! Lovely pool; long enough to swim a few laps. Quiet rural area just 10 minute drive to Methoni and the beach there. Gorgeous self-catering accommodation (they’ve started doing breakfast hampers too); the villas arent on top of each other so you’ve got a very decent amount of privacy. And incredibly kind, warm and welcoming staff. We’ve stayed there three times already and will definitely be back. "

"Literally right next to road going through this small town ( if road noise bothers you). Nice lobby with restaurants literally behind it and market across street. Inexpensive stay for nights sleep on the road exploring. Host didn’t even ask for my Id just Gave me the key! Later he was not at the desk but found him sitting at the restaurant out back and was my host there too. Large bathroom was nice. Fridge in room and tea provided "

"Golden Sun Hotel is in a truely gorgeous location. It is a delightfully quiet, restful place to swim (in both ocean and pool), read, enjoy the company of froends and marvel at the beautful view. The staff were pleasant to interact with and very welcoming. The facility is dated but in good condition and very well cared for. We very much enjoyed our brief stay and would enjoy a return visit!"

"The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The grounds were nice. Everything except the air conditioning in our room was nice. The air conditioning did not work properly and we complained about it daily and multiple times each day. They kept trying to fix it to no avail. Was disappointed with that and I think they should have offered us some comps or a percentage off the room. "

"Check in was seamless with a phone call and WhatsApp message. The room was great, clean and spacious. The bed is very comfortable . Location is excellent, only a few steps from the main square restaurants and a short stroll to the harbour. On a very minor note, some extra coat hangers in the wardrobe would be great. "Plus points. * delicious breakfast * beautiful pebble beach, stunning sunrise, flat calm seas all morning * spacious and comfortable beach loungers *basic comfortable rooms Needs improvement * the bathroom was very tired and could definitely do with some TLC Great value for money for what we needed. We didn’t book all inclusive so didn’t eat dinner in resort but Petalidi is only a kilometre away and has beautiful restaurants, shops, plaza, play park, small promenade etc. "

"The hotel is beautiful and all staff are very polite and friendly. Our room and ensuite were spotlessly clean and we loved the seaview from the balcony. Breakfast was good value for money. There is a lovely little beach a few minutes walk away and plenty of places to eat and a couple of supermarkets in walking distance. The hotel has a car park located close by. The only downside was traffic noise i think because our room was next to the road but didn't spoil our holiday. "
