Firstly, the apartment is directly opposite a nightclub which plays extremely loud music from midnight to 6am. Those leaving the club congregate outside the balcony windows. "We stayed at Mme Durbigny's apartment for a week. It is on the ground floor of her superb traditional Arcachonaise house set in a beautiful green garden. The neighborhood is residential, made up of villas and greenery. We didn't have a car, so it was useful to have a small grocery store a few minutes walk from the apartment. The beach, the nicest in Arcachon, was a ten minute walk. The town of Arcachon is a half an hour on foot, or a five minute ride by bus. There is a good cafe-bar-restaurant...
