"Loved the resort. We stayed in the Beach Junior Suite which was very close to the beach. The room is large and quite with a great bed and shower. The resorts grounds are well kept. The dining area is right on the water with fantastic views and accommodating staff. The food can be better, but that was our experience in all of Tanzania so can't fault this resort for it. "

"We have just had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel itself is huge but so tastefully done and built in a way that if you want to find quiet you can, if you want beach you can, if you want activties there are many on offer, it has something for everyone. There was some noise from the construction next door but we didn’t really notice it very much. "This is the second time I visit Mvuvi (July 2023). On the positive side the new hotel is very nice especially the new swimming pool. The food is unfortunately not the same standard as last year and inconcistent. Sometimes very good and sometimes disappointing. The service is also too slow. "Staff seemed unhappy Although the advertisement says non powered water sports are included that is not true. It is a hike to do anything from the hotel such as boring diving, tours etc Everything is at least an hour away. High tide eliminates the beach. Low tide brings droves of annoying “beach boys” selling everything- they are very persistent and will kill your desire to swim in the sea. Hoses on the beach look nice but know what they will leave behind - nothing done to clear that"

"This beach front resort is absolutely beautiful. Ana greeted us warmly at the reception desk. Our room was very spacious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! It was nice to have breakfast and lunch included in the price. We appreciated having the opportunity to change the set menu for dinner if we wanted.
