"Booking was made easy and any questions answered promptly by the lovely owners, Marie and Michel. A wonderful, very generous welcome gave us all the information we needed. The gîte is spacious and clean with very nice living/eating areas, a well equipped kitchen and big bedrooms with much needed air conditioning. "Our family had a lovely time at De La Truffiere. It is in a quiet location in the countryside but fairly close to Bergerac for shopping and other conveniences. The house is well equipped and has plenty of space to allow family members to do their own thing. It was too early to use the pool but we enjoyed playing ping pong, going on walks in the country and dining on the patio. We would definitely stay there again."

"As a family I’m not sure we’ve ever relaxed as quickly as on this holiday!!! Temperature was VERY hot for the feral qeek so the pool was a godsend, it’s a very “English” area of France, so all supermarkets even sold foodie essentials for my girls like baked beans! We would happily recommend this property to anyone who wants peace and quiet. The only downside was the insect bites. There is an additional outdoor kitchen to take the pressure off the the space of the kitchen indoors, and large tables for the whole family to sit down, both indoors and outdoors.
