"Sardinia is undoubtedly a lovely place but, for me, the best part of our holiday was Paola's house. It was literally steps from the sea and the relaxing sounds of the waves were the background to a much needed holiday for 6 stressed adults! The details now. The beds are very comfortable and the shower pressure is excellent. The kitchen is equipped to cook your meals but there are takeaway and eat in pizza places within easy walking distance even for an old bird like me! We also ate at the bar just along the beach. There is a little shop called market sanna just along the road with enough to tide you over till a big shop in one of the bigger supermarkets nearby. We used Crai in Riola, about 10 minutes by car. At the end of May the sea is warmish and my children had fun in it. You can rent pedalos locally and there are opportunities for boat trips. We used Sinus Yachting and everyone loved that trip which included swimming. If you expect hotel like accommodation then this house is not for you. But if you want to stay in a beautiful, loved home which has a warm and welcoming spirit then come here. The furniture is gorgeous, some are family heirlooms and handmade. The out door terrace was used constantly by my family and we watched some amazing sunsets together. Thank you Paola for giving us the privilege of staying in your house. Grazie."
