"Wir sind sehr freundlich von der Vermieterin empfangen worden. Das Haus ist sauber, gemütlich, mit Liebe, eingerichtet. Besonders gefreut hat uns das Vorhandensein von Dingen wie Taschentücherbox im Wohnzimmer, Tee, Kaffee, Kaffeemilch, Wein und Süßigkeiten als Willkommensgruß, Seife, Toilettenpapier, usw.. Nicht zu vergessen Betten bezogen und und volle Garnitur Handtücher. So etwas hatten wir noch nie so erlebt! Wir werden bestimmt noch mal wiederkommen! "

"The unit is in an older building (dating to 1904), but you couldn't tell from the state of the inside. Everything was modern and quite tasteful. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Far enough outside of town to be in a quiet area, but close enough in that around a 20 minute drive will get you to the tourist areas of downtown Nuremburg. "We stayed during Nuremberg's Christmas Market season. There is a bus stop, a store, and several restaurants within 10 minutes' walk, and the house is in a cul-de-sac so sheltered from road noise. Oven/stove, dishwasher, and washer/dryer all worked (note it seems you have to set a time on the dishwasher, no instant function). Note also there is no freezer, so buy fresh food if you intend to cook. We had to call the landlord once and he was quite nice, but does not speak much English so try to...

The Subway is about a 5 min walk from the house and from there so easy to get to the city center! "This place was a real jewel for us with three adults and two small children. It was clean, comfortable, well-furnished and supplied, quiet and efficient! We all felt immediately at home. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They were especially concerned that our children were happy. (There is a playground across the street!) Everything worked well and was in good repair.
