"This is the first time I’ve been back to Liberty in years, and it is still the same wonderful resort. The staff have been there for a long time, and are all lovely. Breakfasts are good. The gorgeous tropical gardens are amazing to walk through. The location is good, very easy to walk to all the dining options. 3 pools, so you could find sun or shade any time during the day. Our room was great too, loads of space and very well kept. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Tulamben. "

"The room was beautiful. Exceeded expectations. Very well-decorated like a beach cottage. Everything feels new and clean...i think the property is newly renovated. Very quiet property. Right on the beach, too! Linens were nice quality...Many fluffy towels provided. "This is a family-owned place and the pride of ownership shows. It is spotless, as they are constantly cleaning. Nothing is too much to ask and they will organize whatever you want (such as snorkeling trips, cars, etc). They will do laundry for you at $6 per load. Massages were amazing at $12 per hour. "I’ll absolutely be back at Mason elephant lodge. It was the kindest service we’ve ever had. The food is amazing, the spa is amazing, and the elephants are so so happy! If you’re worried, google elephant body language. They are reproducing as well, which is a huge sign they are healthy and happy. Their keepers have been with their elephant for decades. It’s an amazing place. I can’t wait to come back. Special shout out to Oka! He is a doll. "

"From the moment I walked into SANNA UBUD, I knew I had made the right choice! The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and I was greeted with a smile and even offered a welcome drink. The room was absolutely stunning—spotlessly clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the comforts I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view from the room was breathtaking, making it the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. I also had the pleasure of dining at their restaurant, where the food was exquisite, and the service was impeccable. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail from the staff. "We stayed here while we are at UBUD. They are very friendly and well-maintained hotel. I loved the staffs who was very kind and nice! They also have pretty garden and swimming pool. But we didn’t have a chance to get in there. Tell you the truth, you have no time to stay at the hotel because the city is too much things to do. There was a small sewer issues but they came and fix right away. Only one concern was the air conditioning system. Likely other south Asian countries, they don’t clean the filter that often so it could smell fungus a little bit. But it was much better than other hotels. Breakfast area was authentic and nice!! They are not the buffet style but the quality of the food was healthy and yum!!! We loved it! I think I wanna stay here again when I visit Bali next time! "

"We were impressed with the staff from the first greeting at reception through to our housekeepers and restaurant staff. The property is a little tired, however if you can see past that you will love it. The spa was terrific, I ended up going there almost every day of our stay. I would definitely recommend this one!"
